Anamorphic Letterform.

We where asked to choose a letter within our group to produce in a sequence through space. We where given an example being the channel 4 tv adds which show shapes making no sense then when they come together at one point they regain legibility.

Our group decided upon "R".

We decided to create the letter in three dimensions so that we could really capture the feel of a channel 4 advert by suspending the parts of the letter in the air.

We created a quick sketchy net for each segment of the letter.

We then positioned the created parts together to make sure they where the right scale.

We came up with an idea to use two entry points into each piece to make sure the segments would be level enough to be legible when joined together.

The three segments put together
